A native of Dallas, Texas, Cindy is a retired computer software consultant and project manager, skills she finds a tremendous asset in her career in event planning.
Developing Celebrations! came from the experience of planning her own wedding which took place on Valentine’s Day, 2003. She enjoyed the process so much she started researching event planning as a career. A member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, Cindy pursued and received her certification as a Wedding Specialist.
After their wedding, Cindy and her new husband, Greg Shewring, traveled extensively. They lived in Central America and Texas before returning to Washington and settling on the Long Beach peninsula.
Cindy feels she has stumbled onto a well-kept secret as the area offers so much in the way of venues, accommodations and talented wedding vendors.
